Stephanie’s practice focuses on federal Indian law, natural resources and general federal administrative laws. Throughout her almost 30-year career in the Office of the Solicitor, United States Department of the Interior, Stephanie worked on a range of issues, including trespass to tribal and individually owned trust land; complex fee-to-trust acquisitions; the historic removal of dams on the Elwha River; co-stewardship agreements between Tribes and the National Park Service; leasing and rights-of-way for business, utility and agricultural purposes; water rights and irrigation projects; and the myriad of bread and butter issue important to her clients, Tribes and Tribal members.
Through her service in the Solicitor’s Office Division of General Law in Washington, D.C. and the Pacific Northwest Region in Portland, Oregon, Stephanie possesses the unique ability to help clients achieve their objectives in matters involving Interior.
